Workshops & Webinars
Monthly Workshops at the TRAC Office
New to being a tenant? Unsure about your rights? Wondering if what your landlord is doing is legal?
Tenants are invited to attend TRAC’s “Know Your Rights” workshop from 6-8pm on the first Thursday of every month! In this 90-minute presentation, you will learn the basics about tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities in BC:
- What repairs a landlord is responsible for and the steps to hold them accountable.
- The rules for evictions and what to do if you receive an eviction notice.
- When and how rent increases can happen and what to do if your landlord has increased the rent illegally.
- The rules for when a landlord can enter your unit.
- Learn the situations in which you may be a tenant, subletter, or roommate, and what that means for your rights.
- And more!
There will be 30 minutes after the presentation for questions. The workshops are located at TRAC’s downtown Vancouver office at 150-900 Howe Street. For more information on our location, see how to find us!

Webinars and Workshops Outside of the TRAC Office
TRAC offers workshops on Tenant-Landlord Law in BC to settlement agencies, educational institutions, and other non-profits working with tenants. While this service is most commonly provided to organizations, we sometimes assist with building-wide issues where 10+ tenants are requesting a workshop.
If you are an individual tenant looking for assistance, please call our Tenant Infoline at 604-255-0546 or visit our Drop-In at 150-900 Howe Street, Vancouver.
